... And Diesel, my fan Lion King character.

He is a good friend of Simba and Nala. He is a bit older than them.

All started with an April Fool's picture. But I had so much fun doing it that I wanted to draw a few comic pages with it. So here it is !

First page of my fake comic "Terror From The Water Hole".

Nala : What was that ? It's frightening...

Simba : Not at all ! That's sounds like a great roar. There must be a huge lion near us. Let's go and see him.

Diesel : What ?... That sound means we will be soaked in a minute, idiot !

This takes place after cub Simba escapes from the hyenas and wanders off in the desert.
Then he collapses, and he probably has lots of nightmares / hallucinations about all the shocking things he saw. I've tried to illustrated it.

Anatomy is all wrong on purpose (Cool to say that ;-)) because it's nightmare anatomy. It's focus on what Simba is remembering from the last days : Mostly the fear of the hyena mouth and teeths, Zazu being annoying while the cubs where riding on the ostrichs, Mufasa and Nala shouting for help, the wildebeest attack, Scar being all indifferent after his brother's death etc...

The water has grown up due to snow melting, and half Simba's Land has disapeared.

All the animals have leaving already, but Simba refuses to loose his ancestors Kingdom.

I'm really tired of receiving comments and e-mail like
"Scar real name is TAKA"... "Her mom is URU so Scarabie means nothing"... And blahblah

So, I make an official annoncement here :
- My characters have NOTHING to do with Disney's official prequel of the Lion King. I don't like that prequel, and I don't like the "TAKA" name.
- That's why I've done a DIFFERENT prequel. In my version, Scar's mother IS Scarabie. That's why Scar is named Scar... And that's why young Muffasa has thought one day it was funny to give him a scar.
- Muffasa has not always behaved well, mostly because he was very impulsive and jaleous of new born Scar. But he was not a bad boy. With time, he gained lots of courage and wisdom.
- Scarabie looks like Scar, but she is NOT an evil lioness. She is simply a very attentioned mother, and it's not always easy to be one.

Diesel : Please Rafiki ? There's something I really don't understand. If a lion kills a buffalo, every one is pleased. If a lion kills Mufassa, every one hates him. Why ? Have I missed something ?

Rafiki : Well..... Errrr.............. In fact............... Hmmmm..................

Nala : ... And Simba told me it was a great place... And it was nothing but a stinking cave full of bones and hyenas.

Scar : Pff ! Simba is so STUPIDE. I've told him 10 000 times he musn't go there....

Simba : And we found it near the water hold ! There were lots of thoses there.

Nala : Diesel ? Do you think it's dangerous ?

Diesel : Of course not ! That's a FRUIT. When Summer comes, it grows everywhere in the jungle !

*Scar is sad because he feels less strong and less brave than his brother Mufasa. So he goes to see his mother Scarabie, the only one he really love and trust.*

Scar : Mummy ? Do you think I could be a good king ?
Scarabie : Oo, certainly, my son. If you become king one day, I'm sure you'd be one of the very best.

Scar : I don't know where I was... But there was this lion... lying...like he was dead...
Scarabie : This lion... Did he looked like your father ?
Scar : ???... No... Not at all.
Scarabie : Don't worry Son. Nothing will happen to your Dad. It's just a bad dream.

*Scar is crying*
Scarabie : Mufasa.... I am SO disapointed of you.
*Silence*
Scarabie : A TRUE KING never attacks someone weaker than him. A TRUE KING tries to protect the weak ones. And Scar is YOUR brother, not a random toy you can hurt !!!
*Silence*
Mufasa : ....I...am... sorry... Mama..

Oh, I just can't wait... to be king !!!
